Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a certified Small Business (SB), Microbusiness (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) to provide all labor, parts, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, travel, and incidentals necessary to remove and legally dispose of 13 existing light fixtures on light poles and furnish and install 13 new light fixtures with specified light heads, or equivalent, at the Caltrans District 03 off-site parking lot in Yuba County. The contractor must possess a valid and current C-10 (Electrical Contractor) license issued by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). The contract requires prevailing wages if the total bid amount exceeds $15,000. Key responsibilities include:
• Removing and disposing of existing light fixtures
• Furnishing and installing new light fixtures
• Providing three additional light fixtures for future replacement needs
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including labor laws and environmental regulations
The project requires the contractor to work at the Caltrans District 03 off-site parking lot, located at 902 Yuba Street, Marysville, CA 95901, in Yuba County.
