Description
The Lake Orion Community Schools is seeking bids for the partial demolition of the CERC building. The project is part of the 2018 Bond Program and is being managed by Frank Rewold and Sons Inc. The bid documents are available on the FRS Portal, and a non-mandatory pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for May 14, 2026. The bid due date is May 21, 2026, and the public bid opening will be held at 2:00 p.m. on the same day.
• The project requires a performance and payment bond for any bid category exceeding $50,000.
• The bid bond is 5% of the bid amount, and certified or cashier checks are acceptable for bids under $50,000.
• The project is not tax exempt for state sales tax and/or use tax.
• A sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship with the board of education or superintendent must accompany each bid proposal.
