Description
The Cabinet for Economic Development is seeking legal services to represent the Cabinet and its related boards and commissions. The services will include assistance with taxable and tax-exempt bond transactions, representation in court and administrative bodies, and legal advice on policies and procedures. The Cabinet is looking for experienced attorneys with knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, statutes, policies, and procedures.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Experience with financial incentive transactions and Kentucky incentive programs
• Knowledge of equity investment vehicles and related documents
• Availability of attorney and research resources
• Litigation experience and experience handling claims before the Kentucky Personnel Board
• Established process for evaluating conflicts of interest
The Cabinet may award up to five contracts under this RFP.
