UNR - Perform Structural Repairs and Corrosion Control on Virginia Street Pedestrian Bridge

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking bids for the performance of structural repairs and corrosion control on the Virginia Street Pedestrian Bridge. The project includes painting of the underside of the bridge and landings, and will require temporary detours of vehicular traffic on Virginia Street. The pedestrian bridge will be closed to the public during construction. The estimated cost range for the project is $95,000 to $145,000. The project is scheduled to begin on May 18, 2026, and shall be fully complete by June 19, 2026. • The project requires commercial general liability, business automobile liability, workers' compensation, pollution liability, contractors equipment, and builder's risk insurance. • The project will be completed in approximately 32 days. • The project requires compliance with the requirements set forth in the TEMPLATE-Owner-Contractor Construction Agreement. • The project will have a liquidated damages clause of $200 per day.
