Description
The Old Alice Road – Project (CSJ: 0921-06-290, etc.) is a construction project that involves the improvement of Old Alice Road in Cameron County, Texas. The project includes various components such as roadway items, limestone base, asphalt pavement, drainage, pavement markings and signing, bridge construction, reinforcement concrete slabs, pedestrian items, and wastewater and water systems. The project is expected to be substantially complete within 480 working days after the initial notice to proceed. The contractor will be allowed up to an additional ten calendar days for final acceptance.
• The project requires the contractor to be prequalified through TxDOT as an approved vendor.
• The contractor must submit a confidential questionnaire fourteen days prior to the bid opening date.
• A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. C.S.T., but attendance is not mandatory.
• Questions and clarifications must be submitted by Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, before 5:00 p.m. C.S.T.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsible and responsive bidder meeting the specifications and having the lowest possible total extended price.
