Pole Replacement Unit Price Contract 2

The City of Seattle, Department of Finance and Administrative Services, Seattle City Light, is seeking bids for a pole replacement unit price contract. The project includes the replacement of bad order wood poles that are at the end of their serviceable life. The Engineer's Estimate for the project is Not To Exceed $4,000,000. The project location is various locations throughout Seattle City Light's service territory. • The bid documents include a bid form, a declaration, and a bidder/subcontractor list. • The bidder must provide a bid guaranty in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Bid, including retail sales tax. • The bidder must comply with the requirements regarding subcontracting and the purchase of supplies or materials from firms that are not disqualified or otherwise debarred from doing business with the City. • The bidder must provide proof of responsible bidder requirements, including a certificate of registration, UBI number, industrial insurance coverage, and employment security number.
