Description
The Department of the Air Force, 17th Contracting Squadron, intends to solicit a sole source firm fixed-price contract for specialized renovation, component replacement, and system upgrade services for the existing Dumpster and Large frame aircraft fire training systems located at the Louis F. Garland Fire Academy at Goodfellow AFB, TX. The work will consist of furnishing all necessary parts, labor, tools, transportation, supplies, supervision, equipment, and materials. The contract will be awarded to KTF Fire Trainer LLC, the original designer, manufacturer, and installer of the A-500 and O-250 mockups.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Specialized renovation and component replacement for fire training systems
• System upgrades for the A-500 Large Frame Aircraft Fire Trainer and O-250 computer controlled propane-fueled firefighter trainers
