The City of Merced is seeking a qualified contractor to rehabilitate Municipal Drinking Water Well #20 located at 887 S. Tyler Rd., Merced, CA. The scope includes mobilization, pump removal, video surveys, line‑brushing, polymeric‑acid/biodispersant treatment, dry swabbing, air‑lift extraction, chlorination, final video survey, pump re‑installation, and site cleanup, with strict discharge limits for turbidity, pH, and chlorine residual. The contractor must hold a California Class C‑57 license, furnish a 100 % performance bond, and carry required insurance and prevailing‑wage compliance.
