RFQ 5699 - 6000-Hour Decanting Centrifuge Maintenance Training

The City of Redding is soliciting quotes for a one-time training and consultation on the 6000-hour maintenance of an Andritz decanting centrifuge model D5LXC30CHP at the Clear Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The training should be completed within 30 days of the issuance of the purchase order. The successful bidder will provide a qualified decanter centrifuge technician to guide City staff through the performance of the 6000-hour maintenance tasks, which include: * Replacing belts * Overhauling the front pillow block * Inspecting the scroll and centrifuge for cracks and corrosion * Changing lubricants and seals * Inspecting discharge nozzles and solids discharge casing The bidder must provide all necessary materials and equipment, including belts, bearings, seals, and lubricants, which must comply with the specifications found in the Andritz O&M manual for the centrifuge model. The quote should be a lump sum price for all costs associated with the work, including labor, materials, equipment, travel, and incidental expenses. The City reserves the right to reject any or all quotes and to waive minor irregularities.
