The Shelby County Board of Education is seeking a vendor to host and operate a week‑long nutrition‑service training event for over 400 district staff. The vendor must provide a venue capable of accommodating the participants, supply all required audio‑visual equipment, and deliver a full menu of breakfasts, lunches and buffet services across multiple days, including breakout‑room setups. The contract is a fixed‑price, 90‑day award with a possible one‑year renewal, and requires extensive compliance documentation, insurance, and background‑check procedures.
• Provide venue space, free parking, tables, chairs, AV (projectors, screens, sound, microphones) for a main session of 400 participants and five breakout rooms of 35 each.
• Deliver continental breakfast for 200, buffet lunches for 375 (main day) and 155 (breakout days), meeting detailed menu specifications (choice of meat/chicken/pasta, two vegetable sides, three dressings, beverage options).
