Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking vendors to supply winter‑maintenance sand for its King and Pierce County maintenance areas. Bidders must quote a per‑ton price that includes all costs for delivery to designated Inventory Control Points (ICPs) or pick‑up by WSDOT trucks. The sand must meet specific grading and sand‑equivalent requirements, and delivery must occur within seven business days after a purchase order is issued. Multiple awards may be made, and a 5 % price preference is available for firms that do not require mandatory individual arbitration for employees.
