Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin Region, is seeking sources for janitorial services at the Provo Area Office and the Pleasant Grove Facility. The services include routine cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of designated interior spaces, including offices, cubicles, hallways, break rooms, conference rooms, restrooms, and showers. The contractor will be required to maintain all designated areas to meet Quality Level 2 (QL2) standards, consistent with APPA Level 2 – Ordinary Tidiness, except where noted. The contract will be a firm-fixed price with a base year and four option years.
Some key tasks and frequencies include:
• Daily appliance-specific cleaning requirements and standards
• Daily trash and waste removal
• Daily vacuuming
• Weekly spot cleaning of carpets
• Daily cleaning of employee break rooms
• Daily cleaning of metal drinking fountains
• Monthly dusting of low surfaces
• Quarterly stripping, sealing, and re-waxing of vinyl floors
The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to perform the services. The contractor will also be required to have a quality control plan in place to ensure that the services are performed to the required standards.
