Description
The US Geological Survey (USGS) is seeking a contractor to demolish six structures at the TLAS location. The contract will be a firm fixed price award, and the period of performance is from 06/01/2026 to 07/31/2026. The contractor will be responsible for removing trees and vegetation, disconnecting and removing overhead electrical lines, and demolishing the structures. The government will provide asbestos survey reports for two of the structures, and the contractor should assume that the third structure contains asbestos and bid accordingly.
• The contractor must remove trees and vegetation as needed to complete the demolition.
• The contractor must keep surfaces wet to reduce the spread of dust during demolition.
• The government will coordinate with the power supplier to remove overhead electrical lines.
• The contractor must remove the driveway at one of the locations and haul it away.
• The contractor can deliver extra roll-off containers if they are stacked next to the driveway.
