WELL NO. 46 WATER TREATMENT FACILITY

The City of Rockford is seeking bids for the construction of the Well No. 46 Water Treatment Facility. The project includes the construction of a well pitless adapter, water treatment facility, booster station, 5 MG prestressed wirewound tank, site improvements, and water and sanitary utility extensions. The bid must be accompanied by a bid security made payable to the City of Rockford in an amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price. The City of Rockford reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicality. • The project requires compliance with all laws, including those relating to employment of labor and payment of prevailing wages. • The project is expected to be funded in part by a loan from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA). • The bid must include pricing for all bid items and all other information requested in the specifications. • The bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided, and any alterations or additions must be initialed by the bidder. • The City of Rockford will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
