Description
The Maryland Transportation Authority is seeking bids for on-call miscellaneous paving repairs at various locations in Maryland. The contract includes providing labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform paving on asphalt and concrete pavement, and upgrades, replacements, and new construction on concrete traffic barriers, and other roadside concrete appurtenances, as well as roadside drainage features and slope repairs. The work may be required on any portion of the Maryland Transportation Authority's facilities, including bridges, tunnels, and highways. The contract will be performed as on-call task assignments directed by the Engineer.
• The contract has a duration of 1095 calendar days.
• The contractor must have at least five years of experience performing civil repair work similar to the work items listed in the project scope of work.
• The contractor must submit a completed VSBE Utilization Affidavit with the bid.
• The contract has a minimum MBE goal of 19% and a minimum VSBE goal of 1%.
