Description

The Basin View Pipeline Phase II project involves the construction of a livestock pipeline in Dawson County, Montana. The project requires the furnishing of labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct the pipeline, which will be approximately 3931 feet of 2-inch pipe and 9056 feet of 1-1/2 inch pipe. The pipeline will be trenched or ripped to a depth of 5 feet, and all pipeline appurtenances will be installed to a 6-foot frost-free depth. The project also includes the installation of water systems, including PVC and HDPE pipes, fittings, and valves. The contractor will be responsible for clearing, grubbing, topsoiling, excavation, backfill, and bedding, as well as the installation of pipe, joints, and fittings. The project requires the contractor to obtain all necessary permits and follow federal and state rules for erosion controls. Some key features of the project include: • The pipeline will be constructed using PVC and HDPE pipes, with a minimum bury depth of 5 feet. • The project includes the installation of air relief valves, curb stop valves, hydrants, and pressure reducing valves. • The contractor will be responsible for testing the pipeline to ensure its integrity. • The project requires the contractor to restore the disturbed areas to their original condition, including seeding and erosion controls.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this project is estimated to be in the range of $500,000 to $2,000,000, based on the scope of work and the materials required. The project involves the construction of a pipeline, which requires significant labor, equipment, and materials. The cost of the pipeline materials, including the pipes, fittings, and valves, is expected to be a significant portion of the total cost. Additionally, the cost of labor, equipment, and other expenses, such as permits and inspections, will also contribute to the overall cost of the project. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the project, the location, and the contractor's experience and reputation.
