Aircraft Maintenance and Administrative Support

The City of San Diego’s Police Department Air Support Unit is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive helicopter maintenance, OEM parts supply, and administrative support for its four Airbus H125 helicopters and associated Safran 2D turbine engines over a five‑year period. The contractor must perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on‑site, supply new OEM parts at discounted rates, keep detailed maintenance records, operate a parts‑tracking database with real‑time access for the City, provide emergency repair capability, and handle aircraft cleaning and tool provision. • Perform routine, scheduled (150‑hr, 750‑hr, 1,500‑hr, 3,000‑hr, 5,000‑hr) and unscheduled maintenance on four H125 helicopters and Safran 2D engines at the SDPD hangar. • Supply new Airbus H125 and Safran 2D OEM parts at discounted prices, providing warranty coverage to the City. • Maintain a computerized parts‑tracking database, perform aircraft cleaning (wash every 30 flight hrs, wax every 600 flight hrs), and provide 24‑hour emergency repair response throughout San Diego County.
