Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to supply Ibuprofen 800mg tablets in 500ct quantities. The contract requires the vendor to provide a firm commitment of product availability and price, and to comply with various regulations and standards, including the Drug Supply Chain Security Act. The vendor must also provide bar code labeling on the products and ensure that the products are shippable by the United States Postal Service. The contract has a base period of performance, and the vendor must deliver the products within 10 days of receipt of the order.
* The contract requires the vendor to provide a separate and distinct 11-digit National Drug Code (NDC) number for each product proposed.
* The vendor must provide a state wholesale distributor license, valid and unexpired, and OEM authorized dealer or distributor documentation for OTC products.
* The vendor must comply with the Buy American Act and provide certification regarding payments to influence certain federal transactions.
* The vendor must provide product samples, if required, and must submit an original invoice and three copies to the address designated in the contract.
