Description
This solicitation seeks a California‑certified small business to provide on‑site barber services to residents of the Redding Veterans Home. The contractor will supply all tools, supplies, and personnel needed to perform haircuts, beard and mustache trims, and optional bedside services on a limited schedule. Services are performed 2–3 days per month, up to 12 hours total each month, for a three‑year term. The State will pay based on a rate sheet submitted with the quote, and the award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible quote, with a DVBE‑SB preference in case of a tie.
• Provide 2–3 days per month of barber services (≈4 hours/day, max 12 hours/month) at the Redding Veterans Home.
• Supply all equipment, consumables, and maintain strict sanitation and record‑keeping per Exhibit A requirements.
• Submit a complete quote package (rate sheet, certifications, insurance, etc.) by 4/15/2026; award expected after evaluation, with service start anticipated 7/1/2026.
