Description
The Montebello Unified School District is seeking a qualified vendor to design, fabricate, deliver, install, and provide long-term sustainment for a state-of-the-art, fully functional, turnkey aviation flight simulation system to support the District's expanding Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathway in Aviation Technology. The system will serve as a high-impact instructional tool aligned with MUSD's Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) initiatives, offering students a highly immersive, industry-relevant learning environment rooted in real-world aviation practices. The District intends to acquire up to six (6) flight simulators, including both simulator cockpit and operator station. Key aspects of the project include:
• Design, fabrication, delivery, installation, and long-term sustainment of the aviation flight simulation system
• Alignment with MUSD's STEM initiatives and CTE Pathway in Aviation Technology
• Provision of a highly immersive, industry-relevant learning environment for students
• Acquisition of up to six (6) flight simulators, including both simulator cockpit and operator station
• Compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including those governing non-discrimination and civil rights
