Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Harbors Division, is seeking bids for the installation of a new pre-engineered elevator boat lift structure and its foundation, trenching for electrical conduits, installation of electrical connections for the boat lift, and restoration of AC, chain link fencing, gates, and other miscellaneous site elements at Pier 1, Hilo Harbor, Hawaii. The estimated cost of construction is $350,000 to $450,000.
• The scope of work includes mobilization and demobilization, environmental protection, new work, and other requirements noted in the contract plans and specifications.
• The project requires compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including Hawaii Public Health regulations and local laws and regulations concerning pollution control and abatement.
• The contractor shall provide a Health and Safety Plan within 30 calendar days after the award of the contract for review and acceptance.
• The contractor shall verify conditions in the field prior to ordering any materials and shall make no claim for extra compensation should actual existing conditions differ from those shown on the plans and specifications.
