Machining Lab Equipment

The Alvin Community College is requesting bids for various equipment to support the building of a machining lab to support a DOL-SCC5 grant. The equipment includes a CNC turning center with Y-axis, milling machines, and other related equipment. The bid must include the price for all goods and services, and the contractor must meet or exceed the minimum specifications to be considered as a valid bid. The college reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, to accept any proposal deemed advantageous, and to waive irregularity in the proposals. • The bid must be submitted on the original forms provided. • The bid must be sealed and placed in a properly identified envelope with bid number, time, and date of bid due date. • Late bids will not be accepted. • The contractor must provide a reference list of a minimum of three current customers of comparable size. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations. • The contractor must obtain and pay for such permits and inspections as are required for the legal performance of this work.
