BON1 Headgate Repair Pit

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking information from industry for the rehabilitation of the headgate repair pit at Bonneville Dam powerhouse 1. The project involves the construction of headgate support systems, worker platforms, and stairs and landings, as well as the installation of heating, ventilation, fire detection, alarm system, lighting, and a jib crane. The repair pit needs to be painted and must have utilities and support systems installed for the headgate repair pit workers to safely perform sanding and blasting of the headgates. The project also includes minor concrete demolition and modifications to the Bonneville powerhouse 1 headgate repair pit and incidental related work, to provide a secondary egress for workers. The key requirements of the project include: • Construction of required headgate support systems, worker platforms, and stairs & landings • Installation of heating, ventilation, fire detection, alarm system, lighting, and a jib crane • Painting and installation of utilities and support systems for the headgate repair pit workers • Minor concrete demolition and modifications to the Bonneville powerhouse 1 headgate repair pit • Provision of a secondary egress for workers The government is seeking responses from both large and small business members of industry, including Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business (SDVOSB), and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB).
