Acquisition of a Leica Bond Rx Controller

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) intends to award a single source purchase order to Ferox LLC for the acquisition of a Leica Bond Rx Controller. The instrument will be used for validation of clinical IHC target markers for diagnostic and in some cases enrollment to NIH clinical trials. The anticipated period of performance will be for one year. • The Leica Bond Rx Controller is an Automated Immunohistochemistry stainer. • The instrument will be used for critical research in rare tumor identification and subsequent development of therapeutic mechanisms for patients undergoing treatments. • The acquisition includes a 1-year warranty and recommended Preventative Maintenance post-instrument relocation with a PM Kit included.
