Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Optometry Eye Lane Maintenance services for 17 exam rooms at the Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and calibration of equipment. The contract period is for 5 years, with the base year starting on 08-18-2026 and ending on 08-17-2027, and four option years. The contractor will provide two five-day on-site visits per year.
• The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, and services necessary to perform the work.
• The contractor must comply with all VA directives and policies regarding information and information system security.
• The contractor must provide a written service report for each visit, including repairs provided, parts replaced, and any additional maintenance information.
• The contractor must store, transport, or transmit VA sensitive information in an encrypted form.
• The contractor must comply with the Privacy Act of 1974 and all applicable VA regulations and policies.
