Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this contract is likely to be substantial, given the scope of work and the requirements outlined in the bid document. The contract is for a period of two years, with two one-year options to renew, and the City is seeking a contractor who can provide high-quality services to minimize corrosion, scale buildup, and biological growth in its water systems. Based on industry standards and the requirements of the bid document, a rough estimate for the budget could be in the range of $500,000 to $2 million per year, depending on the scope of work and the level of services required. This estimate is based on the assumption that the contractor will need to provide a team of experienced professionals, including water treatment specialists, engineers, and technicians, as well as equipment and materials to perform the services. The budget could be influenced by factors such as the level of competition, the complexity of the water systems, and the City's budget for the project.
