The City of Valdosta is seeking bids for the purchase of one 2026 or newer 3/4 Ton Regular Cab 4x4 Truck with XL Package. The truck must meet certain specifications, including a gasoline engine, heavy-duty transmission, and various features such as power windows and cruise control. The successful vendor will be required to deliver the truck to the City of Valdosta and provide a warranty. • The truck must have a regular cab and a front 40/20/40 vinyl seat. • The truck must have an instrument gauges, including oil, water temp, and voltmeter. • The truck must have dual telescopic trailer tow side mirrors and a fresh air heater/defroster. • The truck must have a factory-installed air conditioner and AM/FM radio with Bluetooth. • The truck must have standard tinted glass and rubber flooring with Weather Tech mats. • The truck must have a gasoline engine, 8 cylinder type, with a minimum of 6.8 L. • The truck must have a heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission. • The truck must have a 12-volt electrical system and a heavy-duty alternator and battery. • The truck must have power windows, locks, and cruise control. • The truck must have a standard wheelbase for a standard box of 6.5 feet. • The truck must have a gross vehicle weight of at least 10,000 lbs. • The truck must have 17-inch minimum wheels with chrome or silver-painted wheels. • The truck must have tires that conform to the GVW rating of the vehicle. • The truck must have a full-size tire and wheel for the spare. • The truck must have five all-season radial tires. • The truck must have full power or electronic steering. • The truck must have power brakes with four-wheel anti-lock. • The truck must have a bright white color to match the existing fleet. • The truck must have a fleet-side bed, regular box, 6.5 feet. • The truck must have heavy-duty shock absorbers and chrome front and rear bumpers. • The truck must have a rear bumper that is heavy-duty and acceptable for towing purposes over 9,000 lbs. • The truck must have a jack and lug wrench included. • The truck must have an owner's manual and title included. • The truck must have a fuel tank with a minimum of 20 gallons. • The truck must have a diamond-plated toolbox with a one-piece lockable lid. • The truck must have a heavy-duty towing package, Class IV trailer hitch receiver, and 7-pin wiring harness. • The truck must have a Line X spray-in bed liner with UV protectant installed. • The truck must have a trailer brake controller included.
