Washington County Ackerman's Grove and Homestead Hollow County Parks Restrooms Shingle Roof Replacement Project

The Washington County Natural Resources Department is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to replace the existing shingle roofs on the restrooms at Ackerman’s Grove and Homestead Hollow County Parks. This project generally consists of tearing-off the old shingles, gutters and downspouts and the installation of new shingles, gutters and downspouts for the restroom roofs. The restrooms are approximately 1,633 sq ft each with gable roofs. • The project involves replacing existing shingle roofs with new ones. • The restrooms are located at Ackerman’s Grove County Park and Homestead Hollow County Park. • Contractors can visit the sites on their own and inspect the buildings. • Bidders should call the Parks Office after their site visit and request their vehicle’s license plate to be validated in order to waive the park entrance fees.
