On-Call Tree Trimming for the Town of Nantucket

The Town of Nantucket is seeking a contractor to provide on-call tree trimming services for a period of one year. The contractor will be responsible for performing tree trimming, removal, and stump grinding services as directed by the Department of Public Works. The contractor must have a minimum of five years of experience in the industry and provide proof of insurance and references. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. • The contractor must be able to respond to emergency calls within one hour and arrive at the job site within two hours. • The contractor must have a 24/7 emergency response telephone number or cell phone number. • The contractor must provide a written warranty for all work performed. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA and ANSI standards. • The contractor must provide certified payroll records and proof of insurance. • The contractor must have a sound backup plan in case of equipment failure.
