Description
The City of Sardis is soliciting sealed bids for the 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) water‑infrastructure project. The contractor will provide all materials, equipment, and labor to install approximately 5,800 linear feet of 6‑inch C900 PVC water main, new valves, fire hydrants, water laterals, pavement replacement, sediment control, and grassing. The work must be completed within 120 calendar days and must comply with state utility‑contractor licensing, E‑Verify, Section 3, and Build America/Buy America requirements. Bids are due September 17, 2026, and must include a bid bond of at least 10 % of the base bid; performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price will be required upon award.
