Medicare Supplement and Part D Pharmacy Insurance

The County of Volusia is seeking a contractor to provide Medicare Supplement Plans and Medicare Part D Employer Group Waiver Plans (EGWP) benefits to retirees on a fully insured basis. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining separate eligibility and reporting participation for each agency separately. The plans will be effective on January 1, 2027. The contractor will also be responsible for providing implementation approaches, plans, and schedules, as well as sample reports and communications. • The contractor must have experience in implementing similar programs in public sector governmental and/or educational entities. • The contractor must provide a detailed explanation of their collection philosophy and methodology. • The contractor must provide a full description of proposed plans, including implementation approaches and schedules. • The contractor must provide sample reports and communications. • The contractor must have a strong project management team with experience in managing similar projects. • The contractor must have a good reputation and be financially stable. • The contractor must be able to provide references from previous clients.
