RFP# PM-26-29 Security Services

The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) seeks a qualified vendor to provide unarmed, BSIS‑licensed security guard services for its residential properties and office facilities throughout San Diego. The contractor must staff foot patrols, courtesy patrols, standing guard duties, incident reporting, emergency response, and supervisory oversight, while meeting strict training, uniform, bilingual, drug‑testing, and insurance requirements. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with up to four optional one‑year renewals, and compensation will be based on hourly rates submitted by the vendor. • Provide licensed, unarmed security guards for multiple SDHC properties (see attached property list). • Meet response‑time (≤2 hrs), reporting (electronic daily reports within 24 hrs), and training (semi‑annual) standards. • Comply with extensive certifications, background checks, insurance, HUD Section 3, and non‑discrimination policies.
