SUPPLY AND INSTALL GUIDERAILS FOR APPLETOWN ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The Washington County, Maryland, Board of County Commissioners, Division of Engineering, is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of guiderails for the Appletown Road Culvert Replacement Project. The project involves supplying and installing traffic barrier W-beam and posts, including the long-span system and 4 each Type C barrier end sections. The work is anticipated to be scheduled after culvert work, performed by the County Highway Department, is completed in early fall 2026. • The quotation shall include prices to complete the work as specified in the Scope of Work. • The contractor must agree to commence work within 10 calendar days of receipt of written "Notice to Proceed" by the County. • The contractor must provide insurance as specified in the attachment, including Workers Compensation, Comprehensive General Liability, and Business Automobile Liability. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to equal opportunity and environmental protection. • The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest, responsive quotation.
