6515--Crash Cart

The Department of Veteran Affairs Loma Linda Healthcare system is looking to purchase 53 Lifeline Emergency Medical Crash Carts designed for rapid response during code or resuscitation events at the hospital. The crash carts must be equivalent to Medline Product# MDRLECCRP and meet the listed salient/functional characteristics. The contractor shall furnish all supplies/services at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System and manage the installation. The key characteristics of the crash carts include having a minimum of three 3-drawers with divider tray and dividers, a minimum of one 6"-drawer with divider tray and dividers, a minimum of one 9"-drawer space, and other features. • The crash carts must have a top cavity tray, a minimum of three locking side bins, a single glove box holder, a cord manager, an adjustable defibrillator tray, a suction pump shelf, a backboard with front assembly kit, casters for mobility, and a fifth wheel steering assist for improved maneuverability. • The contractor is required to provide a quote that clearly states the brand name and model number being quoted, and demonstrate how the quoted items meet or exceed the salient or functional characteristics. • The contractor must also provide a completed and signed VAAR 852.219-76 VA Notice of Limitations on Subcontracting certification.
