Description
The NorthWest Senior & Disability Services is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed, bonded, and insured commercial roofing contractors to provide turnkey services for the removal and replacement of approximately 36,000 square feet of roofing on the single-story, flat-roof Salem Annex building. The project shall be executed in a phased manner to maintain continuous building operations, while minimizing disruption to agency services. The roof includes 31 rooftop HVAC units and a continuous parapet wall ranging from approximately 2 to 4 feet in height.
Key components of the project include:
• Removal and replacement of the existing roofing system with an energy-efficient, code-compliant TPO roofing system
• Installation of a high-quality, fully adhered reinforced TPO roofing membrane system
• Installation of new flashing and roof penetrations
• Heat welding of all seams
• Inclusion of crane services
• Maintenance of watertight conditions daily
• Completion of work within a reasonable installation timeframe of approximately 4–5 weeks, with a maximum duration of 7 weeks.
