The City of Florence is soliciting a qualified architectural/engineering design team (or consortium) to provide full‑service design, permitting, and construction‑administration for a new 1,500‑seat indoor arena that will expand the existing Pearl Moore Basketball Center. The scope includes site work, arena architecture, interior amenities, building systems, and coordination through construction, with a total project budget of $6 M.
• Design of a modern multi‑court indoor arena (≈1,500 seats, retractable/fixed bleachers, dual‑sport flooring).
• Full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire‑protection, and security systems design, plus ADA‑compliant circulation and amenities.
• Preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, permitting, and construction‑administration services through project completion.
• Mandatory pre‑proposal conference (Dec 19 2025) and hard‑copy submission of qualifications (5 copies) by Jan 9 2026, with a separate sealed envelope for rate schedules.
• Evaluation based on experience, project approach, past examples, and commitment; performance and payment bonds required after award.
