6530--Pathology Renovation Phase 2 Casework Package

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a sole source contractor to provide laboratory casework for the renovation of the Pathology and Laboratory located at the VAMC Togus campus in Augusta, ME. The contractor must provide and install mobile casework that meets or exceeds the VHA specifications and high-quality threshold while integrating excellent environmental stewardship. The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, product, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to satisfy the needs of each ordering activity. The contractor must also attend a minimum of three meetings to review final award with VA POC and End Users and to make necessary revisions. Key features of the required casework include: • 1" thick epoxy countertops • 3 steel shelves per setup • Hanging cabinets per schedule • 2 circuits per bench • 2 Cat 6A per bench • Shelving to be painted steel • All exposed ends of casework to be finished • Drill in field holes for xg3-ø3" grommet as required at workstations
