GENERATOR UNINSTALL INSTALLATION NAVY TUG YT-810

The Commander Navy Region Northwest, Port Operations Code N31, is seeking a contractor to detach/uninstall the current faulty generator, support the attached motor in-place, and rig and remove the generator from the boat. The contractor will then rig and install a new generator, attach it to the existing motor, and test it. The repairs are expected to take 2-3 days. The new generator will be supplied by the customer. • The contractor will need to remove the ladder and/or soft patch to uninstall the generator. • The contractor will need to prep the area to install/weld lifting padeye(s) for the new generator. • The contractor will need to reinstall the ladder and/or soft patch after the new generator is installed. • The customer will supply the new generator.
