Truxton - Hancock Streets ROW Improvements Project

The City of Gretna is seeking bids for the Truxton - Hancock Streets ROW Improvements Project. The project includes sidewalk demolition, 2" mill/overlay, new asphaltic concrete roadway, new sidewalk construction, sub-surface drainage installation, and other incidental work. The project is expected to be completed within 60 calendar days. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on January 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST. • The project requires a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid. • The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond guaranteeing faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the contract. • The project is classified as Category II Highway, Street and Bridge Construction and/or Category IV, Municipal and Public Works Construction. • Only contractors with the required classification may submit bids for this project.
