Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to replace two air compressors for the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. The project involves removing existing air compressors and installing a new 5 HP reciprocating industrial-duty air compressor and tank, as well as replacing duplex 2 horsepower air compressors and motors. The contractor will be required to provide a preventative maintenance plan for the new air compressor systems. The project is estimated to require two consecutive standard workdays (8 hours/day).
• The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials necessary to perform the installation tasks.
• The contractor shall comply with all VA guidelines for working in an occupied healthcare environment.
• The contractor shall provide a preventative maintenance plan for the new air compressor systems.
• The contractor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment, and/or services contracts.
