DJJ Term Contract- Category C Architect & Engineering Professional Services

The Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is seeking a qualified Architecture/Engineering (A/E) firm to serve as a term‑contract provider for a variety of small‑scale, discrete projects. The contractor must be able to respond quickly to requests for investigations, studies, reports, and design work related to DJJ facilities, including the Bon Air Juvenile Correctional Center and the Virginia Public Safety Training Center. This is a “Category C” professional services contract, meaning the work is limited in scope and budget per task, but the firm will be on call for multiple assignments over the contract period. • Provide architectural and/or engineering assistance for investigations, feasibility studies, and design of small projects. • Deliver reports, drawings, and specifications in a timely manner to support DJJ operations and compliance. • Maintain readiness to respond to ad‑hoc requests across two Virginia locations (Bon Air and Hanover). • Ensure all deliverables meet DJJ standards and applicable state regulations. • Offer competitive rates and flexible scheduling for a variety of short‑term tasks.
