Budget estimate

$50,000 – $150,000

Based on typical labor rates for skilled pipe‑fitters in Kansas (≈ $70–$100 per hour) and the expected scope (removal and installation of a full floor’s hydronic system in a correctional facility), the total labor effort could range from 500 to 1,500 man‑hours. This yields an estimated labor‑only cost between $50,000 and $150,000, depending on crew size, overtime, and any incidental equipment rentals. The estimate assumes no material costs (materials are provided by the facility) and includes allowances for site‑specific safety and coordination requirements.
