Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is seeking bids for a Slip-On Calibration Unit with three Special J VEP 5-gallon Stainless Steel Provers and three 80-gallon Stainless Steel Holding Tanks. The unit must be manufactured by Seraphin, and only the manufacturer and representatives are allowed to bid. The scope of work includes the delivery and installation of the unit, and the contract will be awarded to the bidder providing the lowest priced total dollar amount bid for the project. Key features of the unit include:
• VEP Provers with a cap mounted on the neck to create a seal around the dispenser nozzle
• Vent line fitted from the top of the prover to the product holding tank
• Stainless steel construction and hardware
• Leveling method using a stainless steel leveling ball joint
• Locking device to stabilize the prover during transport
• Wrench for removing the provers from holding tanks
