Description
The Army is seeking a qualified small‑business vendor to provide annual inspection, calibration, and lapping/repair services for a fleet of granite surface plates used by the Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center at Rock Island Arsenal. The work must be performed on‑site, adhere to ISO 17025 accreditation, follow ANSI Z540 standards, and be fully documented with Service Acceptance Reports. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, base‑year award with up to four one‑year option extensions.
• Perform inspection, flatness measurement, and calibration of listed granite surface plates (approximately 20 plates of various grades).
• Conduct lapping/repair on any plate that fails to meet specification, and apply calibration stickers.
• Submit SARs within three business days of each calibration and provide itemized invoices through WAWF.
• Meet strict security, visitor‑access, and safety requirements of Rock Island Arsenal (CAC, background checks, Real‑ID for drivers, etc.).
