Description
The City of La Porte is seeking bids for the delivery of 1-1/2" flexible base limestone, approximately 800 tons annually. The contract will be for an initial term of 1 year, with the option to extend for 2 additional years. The city reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities ordered, and the contractor shall not have any claim against the city for any quantities ordered that are less than the estimated bid amount.
• The material shall conform to the minimum requirements for flexible limestone base, Type A, Grade 1.
• The city reserves the right to test or have tested all products to determine if they meet the specifications.
• The contractor shall provide a performance bond in the amount of the contract, if the contract is more than $100,000.
• The contractor shall provide a payment bond in the amount of the contract, if the contract is in excess of $50,000.
