Description
The Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking electrical engineering design services on a routine or as-needed basis for small, miscellaneous projects under $300,000. The annual fees may not exceed $150,000 in total value, and no single project shall exceed a $36,000 fee. The base contract will be for a period of one year, with one possible one-year extension. The selected firm will provide electrical engineering design services, including expertise in educational/institutional renovation and remodel projects, sustainable and innovative design, and energy efficiency.
• The proposal should include a letter of interest, design approach, examples of previous projects, proposed Gantt chart schedule, and resumes of key staff.
• The firm must be properly licensed to practice architecture, engineering, or landscape architecture in the State of North Carolina.
• HUB certified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal.
• The selection criteria include expertise and previous experience, demonstrated understanding of renovation and remodel of existing buildings, technical expertise, and qualifications and experience of proposed staff and consultant team.
