Architectural and Engineering Services for Infrastructure Stabilization at Cal Fire Stations 72 (Palermo) and 55 (Bangor)

The County of Butte is seeking a qualified firm/individual to provide design services for the infrastructure stabilization project at two Cal Fire Stations. The selected firm/individual will provide comprehensive design and engineering services, including preliminary assessment and planning, design development, permitting and regulatory compliance, construction documents, bid phase support, construction phase services, and project management and coordination. The project includes replacement of concrete apron, removal and replacement of heaters and doors, and resealing and restriping of existing asphalt surfaces. The firm/individual should have experience in performing similar services, particularly for public safety facilities or critical infrastructure. • The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. • The selected firm/individual will work closely with County staff and contractors to ensure timely implementation of the project. • The firm/individual should demonstrate relevant experience, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of public infrastructure projects. • The project requires compliance with federal and state requirements, including environmental regulations and labor standards. • The firm/individual should be prepared to use the County's standard contract form and execute a contract substantially as attached to the RFQUAL. • The selection process will include evaluation of proposals based on criteria such as understanding of the work, experience with similar projects, qualifications of the project team, and regulatory knowledge and CDBG compliance.
