One Used Forklift

The City of Douglas is seeking bids for one used forklift. The forklift will be used for loading and unloading of parts and materials and general use in the Public Works Shop. The bid specifications include requirements for the wheels and tires, operator's station, engine, lift specs, connectivity, electrical, and other features. Bidders must meet or exceed the minimum specifications. • The forklift must have rubber pneumatic tires for indoor/outdoor use. • The operator's station must have a fixed open operator station, 4-post foldable roll-over protection structure (ROPS), adjustable vinyl seat with retractable seat belt, and instrument cluster with fuel level, engine temperature, oil pressure, PTO status, RPM's, hour meter, and quick diagnostic lookup. • The engine must be a 4-cylinder LP gas powered engine. • The lift specs must have a 5,000 lb. minimum lift capacity. • The forklift must have a diagnostic link connection and other features as specified.
