6615--Thyroid Probe Well - Imaging/Radiology

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a vendor to provide a thyroid probe and well counter system for the Nuclear Medicine Department at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, TN. The system should include a combined thyroid uptake probe and well counter, with a Nal(Tl) crystal probe and adjustable collimation, optimized for thyroid I-123 and I-131 uptake studies. The system should also include a well counter with a Nal(Tl) well detector, minimum 2-inch diameter class, and shielded well assembly. The vendor should provide on-site setup, installation, and user training, as well as a minimum 1-year warranty on parts and labor.
