R--Armed Contract Security Officer (ACSO) Services

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking armed contract security officer services to support the EPA Region 10 Manchester Environmental Laboratory (R10 MEL) in Port Orchard, WA. The purpose of the contract is to ensure the safety and security of the occupants, structures, and equipment at the laboratory. The contract requires 24/7, 365-day armed contract security officer services. The EPA R10 MEL provides chemical and microbiological analyses, method development, and other applied science activities. • The contract period of performance will be for one base year and four one-year option periods. • The competition for this acquisition will be conducted as an 8(a) set-aside, using FAR Parts 15 and 19 procedures. • Award will be made on a best value/tradeoff basis. • The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code 561612 applies, and the small business size standard is $29 million per year.
